Edinburgh Property News is the blog for The Edinburgh Property Guide (www.theedinburghpropertyguide.com), the property portal and magazine for sales and rentals throughout Edinburgh, the Lothian and the Borders.

The Edinburgh Property Guide offers buyers and sellers an unique combination—a property portal website and a quality monthly colour magazine. Both are available to estate agents, solicitors, developers and letting agents as well as associated companies.

First published more than 20 years ago by a group of the leading estate agents in Edinburgh, the magazine has now been re-vamped and re-designed, and has a new publisher. It is distributed free to several hundred banks, building societies, estate agents, financial advisors, mortgage brokers and solicitors—as well as supermarkets—in Edinburgh, East Lothian as far as North Berwick and Dunbar, Galashiels, Peebles and Melrose in the Borders, Penicuik in Midlothian and Linlithgow and Livingston in West Lothian.

The website has a searchable database. Searches can be made by area, number of bedrooms and price range and property type. The site also includes email alerts.
